I started worked on Almightree: The Last Dreamer after two months of the development cycle while the core designs and some of the mechanics have been designed or done. I was one of two programmers on the project.
I was tasked to develop and improve the game mechanics such as main character movement control, obstacle behavior and interaction, and challenge mechanics. I was also tasked to design the challenges on each stage. Later on the last three months, I was tasked to design some of the puzzle and decorate all of the stages.
Almightree: The Last Dreamer currently holds a 83 metascore on metacritic.com, at top 50 on Chinese top paid puzzle games, featured on Pay Once & Play collection, and was at top 200 on US top paid puzzle games.
